BIOGRAPHY:
Topi was founded
by Erin Cowan in 1996. Originally from Calistoga, California, Erin learned
to crochet soon after moving to Austin, Texas. When he was nineteen he
started selling hats in a local arts market. Using a unique style and
skill Erin was soon off of an exclusive top ramen diet.
Topi's success is due to the high quality yarns and craftmanship, as well
as a creative approach to business. And of course a huge shout-out to
the people who support local art. Topi hats and scarves are made with
a timeless style, from simple and versatile to crazy and colorful. Erin
is always willing to try something new if you have an idea for a custom
order.
